Question - What happens at a Be Jewelled Party?

Question - How much will it cost to book a party?

Question - Will I need to pay a deposit to secure my party booking?
Answer – A deposit is not required. Please refer to Section A of our terms and conditions for further information.
Question – How long do I have to confirm my booking after I receive my booking form?
Answer – We will pencil in your desired time and date when we send you the booking form. You have 5 days to send back your completed booking form to confirm your booking. If you do not return your booking form within those 5 days you may lose your desired time and date, so please return booking forms ASAP.
Question - What happens if a guest doesn’t attend on the day; do I still have to pay for them?
Answer – No, you will not be charged for absent guests.
Question - What happens if Be Jewelled Parties cancels the party?
Answer - In the unlikely event that the Party Host has to cancel we will inform you immediately and make all reasonable attempts to find a suitable alternative date. Please refer to Section B of our terms and conditions for further information.
Question - How do I make a party booking?

Question - How far in advance should I book my party?
Answer - If you have a particular time and date in mind then it is advisable to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
Question - Will Be Jewelled Parties do weekday parties?
Answer – Yes, weekday parties are as popular as weekend parties.
Question - What time can I have my party?
Answer – Normally on weekdays we can do a party at anytime. On weekends we will attend parties starting no earlier than 10.30am and starting no later than 17.00pm. Please refer to Section A and E of our terms and conditions for further information.
Question - How long are your parties?
Answer - Our parties run for approx. 2 hours.
Question - How many guest can I have at my party?
Answer – For weekday parties the minimum is 8 guests and for weekend parties the minimum is 10 guests. Other than that you can go as large as you wish however; do take into consideration how much space you have available at your venue. Please refer to Section A of our terms and conditions for further information. (Also refer to next Q&A below)
Question - Do you only make jewellery at the party?
Answer – No; please take time to view all our party themes and ideas as all the information you need is there. We cover all ages and abilities with lots and lots of extra activities... oh, and don’t forget the fairy dust and sparkles. Question - Do you supply party bags and if so what is in them?
Answer - Yes we supply party bags; included in the bags are the jewellery they have made and a range of other items based on the party theme. All items are safe for children.
Question - Do you supply Prizes for the games?
Answer – Yes. Prizes include, but are not limited to, beaded bracelets, bouncy balls, bubbles and much, much more.
Question - Does the Be Jewelled Parties Host require parking?
Answer - The Be Jewelled Parties’ Host has a lot of party props and heavy equipment to unload and set up. Please make sure there is a parking space directly next to the venue or house. Please refer to Section D of our terms and conditions for further information.
Questions - Do I get to speak to my Be Jewelled entertainer before the party?
Answer - Your Party Host will call you a few days before your party to go through any questions you may have and to get a list of all guests attending. However please do not hesitate to contact us before hand if you need further information.
Question - Do I need to provide anything for my Be Jewelled entertainer?
Answer - Please ensure there is adequate clear table and work surface area to accommodate the number of people attending the event. The floors should be clear of hazards and there must be at least one easily accessible electricity plug socket available, not close to a fire exit... and if you could squeeze in a cup of tea on arrival that would be fantastic! Please refer to Section D of our terms and conditions for further information.
Question - What time will my Be Jewelled Parties Party Host arrive to set up for my party?
Answer - Your entertainer will arrive 15–30 minutes before your party to set up.
Question - Will the Be Jewelled Parties Party Host bring a stereo and music?
Answer – Yes; we have a large and varied selection of party music if required.
Question - Will my Be Jewelled Parties Party Host be female?
Answer – Yes; all our Party Hosts are female. However, for larger parties or corporate events specialist entertainers such as balloon modellers, jugglers and magicians can be male or female.
Question - Are your parties suitable where there is a mixed age group?
Answer – Yes; each Be Jewelled Party is unique and suited to your requirements, therefore we can adapt the activities to suit a variety of ages.
Question - I have lots of adults staying at this party; will this be okay?
Answer - It is great for parties involving younger children to have an extra bit of adult help. For older children please give the adults seats / refreshments in an area furthest away from the party, allowing them to socialise independent of the party. This will stop noise becoming too distracting for children, especially parties for 3-6 year olds, and allow the Party Host to talk too rather than scream at the children.
Question - Should I hire a hall or can I have the party at home?
Answer - This will depend on the amount of children that you will be inviting to your party. Be Jewelled Parties do require a reasonable amount of space for children to sit and create. It is important that children do not feel crushed as they can get very upset about not having much room. So if you are thinking of holding a large party hiring a hall is a good idea. Please refer to Section D of our terms and conditions for further information.
Question - What should I look for when booking a venue?
· Make sure that you will have access to the room at least 30 - 60 minutes before the party starts so that both you and the
Party Host can prepare before your guests arrive.
· Allow 30 minutes after the party to clean and pack away.
· Check for cleanliness and how much space you have available making sure it suits your desired number of guests.
· Check how many chairs and tables are available.
· Inquire if you have use of a kitchen for preparing food, drinks and refreshments.
· Make sure there is at least 1 electricity plug socket available and that it is away from any fire exits.
· How adequate the parking is for your guests and more importantly, your party host, who will need close direct access.
· Make sure you have an emergency number of the caretaker in case the venue is not open when you arrive.
· Make sure exiting the venue in an emergency is easy and free from complication (i.e. if your party is not on the ground floor; such as a flat / sports centre etc), and that all necessary fire equipment (i.e. fire extinguishers / blankets etc) are easily accessible.
Question - Are all Be Jewelled entertainers CRB checked and do they hold public liability insurance?
Answer – Yes; copies are available on request.
